The RTX 3080 Ti could be with us by May if multiple rumours are anything to go by, filling the expansive price gap between the $699 RTX 3080 - which is currently the best graphics card for gaming - and the $1,499 RTX 3090.
Originally rumoured to pack 20GB of GDDR6X VRAM, it’s looking more and more likely that’s been downgraded to 12GB. This is the same capacity as you’ll find in the $329 RTX 3060, although the latter uses slower GDDR6 memory. With this new card rumored to pack just 2.4% less CUDA cores than the overkill 3090, the 3080 Ti has some serious potential to be the perfect GPU to place inside the best gaming PC build.
Since it carries a possible price tag of around $1,200, the RTX 3080 Ti could go right up against AMD’s current flagship GPU, the RX 6900 XT. But, AMD's card has an extra 4GB of VRAM, which could trounce it against the future team green card.
