The Genshin Impact 2.1 update is on its way and, as usual, players can expect plenty of new content to arrive in the charming anime game when the patch arrives. Thanks to dataminers and information from the beta, we now have some idea of what awaits us in 2.1.
According to the information available, we can expect to explore more of Inazuma, meet new Genshin Impact characters, and enjoy several new events and activities - and it seems like fishing will finally become part of the game. There will be a wide variety of fish available to catch across Teyvat, and once you’ve reeled one in successfully, you have a few options: cook it into a succulent meal, exchange it at a Fishing Association, or - if it’s an Ornamental Fish - put it into a pond in your Serenitea Pot.
