Purchasing the battle pass instantly unlocks the Fortnite Toona Fish skin, which can be customised by finding colour bottles and character styles at specific locations on the Fortnite Season 8 map. While you’re searching for these collectables, be sure to talk to Fortnite NPCs and pick up their punchcard quests - a series of five challenges of escalating difficulty exclusive to each NPC.
You may also notice chunks of the Mothership scattered around the map, and portals to The Sideways in different locations each match, transporting you to an alternate dimension full of aggressive fiends that swarm you, dropping Cube Monster parts when they’re defeated. Cube Monster parts can be used to upgrade the rarity of powerful Sideways weapons, unique guns that can only be found in The Sideways. They are somewhat different to normal weapons as they can overheat, dealing more damage the closer they get to overcharging.
