Massively multiplayer online games, or MMOs for short, occupy a very unique space in the gaming world. These are games with hundreds of thousands of players every day, building communities within communities, talking in what can seem like an alien language about AoE, DPS, mobs, and more.
These communities are often very welcoming to new players, and beautiful moments can arise when groups band together to create their own stories in a world. Not only is it an entirely new world, with plenty of mysteries and secrets for new players to uncover, but it has a variety of ways to play which can ease you into the game without having to get stuck into large-scale PvP battles or epic quest lines.
